We only see the Commenters 🤷‍♀️

I love everyone who interacts with my content but I can’t be the only one who particularly notices those who comment.

It’s true: those who comment are often noticed because they’ve chosen to make themselves visible.

It’s great to like; but it’s intentional to comment.

And just like me, there are many others who only see the commenters. 🤷‍♀️

I first saw this play out significantly in the life of Peter – Jesus’s disciple.

During the last days of Jesus on earth, he threw a question to his disciples and Peter was first to answer – comment.

This singular act therefore earned him an eternal spot in Christain history that even his later shortcomings could not erase.

Simon Peter answered,
“You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus replied,
“Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭16‬-‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus asked his disciples a question but only Peter responded.

This simply goes further to confirm that when your voice is not heard, your impact is limited. (Psalm‬ ‭19‬:‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

If you must stand out in your sphere of influence, you must intentionally be a commenter.

Comment on trends & posts. Intentionally prove your thought leadership!

Don’t just be a passerby and expect to be spotlighted. You’re visible only when you make yourself be!

If you don’t walk, your imprints cannot be seen.

In the same vein, if you don’t comment (use your voice, share your thoughts, position yourself at the cutting edge) you may never be seen.

Sometimes, if you wish to be seen, you have to be willing to make some noise.

Are you a commenter?
